The Office of Marketing and Communications is happy to arrange photography services for all college offices and departments.
To schedule a photo shoot, complete and submit the Photographer Request Form below. Be as specific as possible in describing your needs, purpose, and how the photographs will be used. Requests must be made at least two weeks prior to your event. Please allow three business days for us to evaluate and respond to your request. We will make every effort possible to assist you, but note that, due to budget and time constraints, we do not have the capacity to fulfill every request or photograph your entire event.
Once we have completed your assignment, we will send you a private URL to access and review all photographs and make your selection of up to 10 photographs that we will size and edit to your specifications. Depending on the volume of photography requests, it may take up to five business days for you to receive your order. Note that all photographs may be used whole or in part by the Office of Communications and Marketing in advertisements, college publications, and digital content to promote the academic mission of the college.
If you plan to hire an external photographer to be on campus or at a college-sponsored event, you must notify our office in advance in order to receive approval.
For legal purposes, Photo Release Forms must be signed by all Brooklyn College students, anyone who is not a Brooklyn College student, and anyone under age 18 who will be photographed. You may obtain the form from the Office of Communications and Marketing. All signed Photo Release Forms must be submitted to our office before you will be given permission to use the photographs.
