The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is the college’s current accreditor. The college was last accredited in 2019; the college is currently preparing for re-accreditation, with a site visit occurring in either Fall 2027 or Spring 2028. Below is a chart that provides an overview of the college’s current timeline.

MSCHE Working Groups
In Fall 2025, the college assembled working groups for each of the MSCHE standards. Each working group is comprised of faculty, staff and at least one student, who have particular knowledge, experience, and interest in their standard. Each working group has at least two co-chairs (co-chairs and membership of working groups is listed below). Each working group is responsible for the following:
- generating the Lines of Inquiry for the self-study
- gathering, evaluating and summarizing the evidence necessary for their specific Lines of Inquiry.
- Completing the necessary forms to ensure proper documentation and timely submission.
Lines of Inquiry
- The Lines of Inquiry are the “guiding principles” or “research questions” generated by each working group that will inform and direct the narrative of the college’s self-study.
- They are aligned with the college’s Strategic Plan and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- As a reminder the college’s most recent Strategic Plan 2024 – 2029 identified the following as Strategic Priorities:
- Transformative Academic Excellence
- Strategic Funding
