Campus infrastructure repairs begin August 2 with concrete replacement at the Whitehead entry and lift area, and flooring repair at the East Bedford Avenue guard booth. Temporary access arrangements will be in place.
Capital project work will impact the Avenue H sidewalk and West Gate entrance next week, including sidewalk replacement on July 21–22 and roadway paving on July 25. Alternate pedestrian and vehicle access points will be in place.
Masonry repairs at the Library are scheduled to begin Monday, July 21. During construction, the front entrance will be closed and all access will be through the side entrances.
Brooklyn College will begin replacing steam traps across campus starting July 7, 2025; community members are asked to clear areas around radiators to support this essential maintenance work, which will improve campus heating efficiency and resilience.
Steam service to Ingersoll and Roosevelt Extensions will be shut down from the afternoon of June 17 through June 18, affecting hot water, some lab equipment, and heating; full operation is expected to resume by June 19.
