The Brooklyn College Events Protocol protects free speech and ensures a safe and inclusive campus. Key rules include:

Rules and Regulations for the Maintenance of Public Order (Henderson Rules):

CUNY’s Rules for Maintenance of Public Order (Henderson Rules) apply to all members of the campus community, including students, staff, faculty, student clubs, and visitors. These rules require everyone to:

  • Follow the lawful directions of College officials.
  • Show your BC Photo I.D. when requested to do so by a College official.
  • Refrain from damaging property or engaging in disorderly conduct.
  • Respect the right to a campus environment free of harassment and discrimination.

Thank you for helping keep Brooklyn College safe, respectful, and welcoming. If you have questions about BC Photo I.D.s, event planning, or public safety policies, please contact us. Additional resources are available on the Brooklyn College Campus and Community Safety Services website, and we encourage all members of the community to review them.
