2026 Annual Security Report

The Brooklyn College 2026 Annual Security Report will be available on our college website starting October 1, 2026. The web address for the report is https://www.brooklyn.edu/safety/

The report is also available in hard copy from the Public Safety Office, room 0202 Ingersoll Hall.

The Annual Security Report includes crime statistics for the calendar years 2023-2025. The statistics include crimes reported to the Public Safety Office, data received from our local NYPD police precinct, as well as reports from designated Campus Security Authorities. The statistics include reported incidents occurring on campus, on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus, and in non-campus buildings. Reported Hate Crimes are included in the statistical data as well.

In addition, the Report includes College and University policies regarding alcohol and drug use, the reporting of crimes, campus law enforcement authority, crime awareness and prevention programs, sexual assault policies, student discipline, counseling, emergency notifications and procedures, timely warnings, and other matters related to campus security and safety.
