Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (“CETC”)

The New York State Commission on Ethics and Lobby in Government requires all Brooklyn College employees to complete a Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (“CETC”) every other calendar year. The purpose of this training is to advise employees of their responsibilities under the New York Public Officers Law and other related ethics laws and regulations. Failure to comply with these laws can result in disciplinary action and/or significant civil penalties and fines.

The training is offered both online and in person by the Office of Legal Affairs and Labor Relations. Biennial attendance at these trainings is mandatory for all College employees.
