How to update your personal info in CUNYfirst

You can update personal information like email, address, and phone numbers in CUNYfirst. For name changes, see the name change request process.

  1. Sign in to CUNYfirst with your CUNY Login credentials. 
  2. Navigate to Employee Self Service: Click on “Employee Self Service” or “HR/Campus Solutions” in the main menu. 
  3. Go to Personal Information: From the Self Service menu, select “Personal Information,” and then choose “Personal Information Summary” or “Contact Details”. 
  4. Update your contact information:

    For phone numbers: Find the “Phone Numbers” section. Click the “plus” sign to add a new one or click on the existing number to edit it. Enter the new information, select the “Preferred” checkbox if needed, and click “Save”.

    For email addresses: Find the “Email Addresses” section. Click the “plus” sign to add a new one or click on the existing one to edit. Select the “Email Type,” enter the address, mark it as “Preferred” if necessary, and click “Save”.
