Reporting Facilities Issues

For any Facilities-related emergencies, such as an active water leak, fire, smoke, or any other urgent issue, please call x5885 immediately. Temperature-related concerns, like rooms being excessively hot or cold, are also considered emergencies and should be reported through the same number. For a comprehensive list of emergencies, click here.

Employees: If a Facilities work request needs to be created, please use the college’s Archibus work request system. Detailed instructions on how to submit a work request can be found here. If you do not have access, contact your department administrator for assistance.

Students: You can report facilities issues by calling x5885 or emailing FacOps@brooklyn.cuny.edu.

For any inquiries about the status of a work request or to follow up with Facilities Operations, please email FacOps@brooklyn.cuny.edu to ensure timely resolution.

We have updated the Facilities section of Brooklyn College Knowledge. You can access it here.

Campus Survey and Utilization Study

CUNY has completed the data collection phase of this study.  As I mentioned in my Fall 2024 Welcome communication this will enable us to utilize the campus better and create more community spaces.  We want to thank everyone for their cooperation.  We will keep everyone posted on next steps.

Claire Tow Theater

Emergency netting has been installed so we can safely use the theater while the assessment continues.  We anticipate the planning to continue this fall and for work to be done during the winter break.
