CUNY recommends using the free Microsoft Authenticator mobile app to generate the verification codes required CUNY Login multi-factor authentication. Use the QR codes below on your mobile device to go directly to either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to install.
If searching manually in the App Store be sure to install the official Microsoft Authenticator app from Microsoft Corporation. It might not be the first result. Use the QR codes from your phone to be sure you’re downloading the right authenticator app.

Note: If you already use Google Authenticator to receive verification codes for other services, it will also work for CUNY Login MFA, but Microsoft Authenticator is the recommended option by CUNY.
