Access to the East Quad pedestrian walkways will be closed from Friday, October 2 at 11:00 p.m. through Monday, October 5 at 6:00 a.m. while contractors apply concrete sealer to the new walkways. The notice provides alternate entrances for Boylan and Ingersoll Halls during this period.
Brooklyn College will operate remotely on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2026, due to anticipated severe weather. Students should monitor Brightspace and communicate with their instructors, while all on campus events scheduled for the weekend will be postponed.

The Campus-Wide Roof Gutters & Leaders Replacement project has been rescheduled to begin October 5. The project will include roof leak testing at Boylan, Roosevelt, Ingersoll, and Whitman Halls and may require temporary access to offices and rooms, as well as closed windows during testing.
The Whitehead Campus Road entrance is scheduled to reopen on September 8 for foot traffic only through September 26 while the new concrete cures. During this period, carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other heavy equipment are prohibited, with heavier deliveries directed through the Library Cafe entrance in coordination with Cafe staff.

The East Quad Bedford Entrance is scheduled to reopen on August 28, in time for the first day of classes. While the entrance and access to Boylan and Ingersoll Halls will be available, the interior of the Quad will remain closed as work continues.
The repair and repaving of the Boylan Hall well parking lot has been completed ahead of schedule. The parking lot will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, August 20th. Thank you for your cooperation.
