Rescheduled: Campus Wide Roof Gutters & Leaders Replacement Project

Dear Campus Community,

Please note the Campus-Wide Roof Gutters & Leaders Replacement project, previously scheduled for the week of September 28th, has been rescheduled to commence on Monday, October 5th.

As a reminder, the project will test for roof leaks at Boylan, Roosevelt, Ingersoll, and Whitman Halls. This will require a water truck and a man-lift to come onto campus with apparatus to spray water onto the sloping slate roofs. Personnel will be staged inside on floors below the roofs to observe the interiors for leaks. The spray tests are expected to finish in eight days.

We anticipate there will be some distraction as you see workmen through windows on the lift and we ask for your cooperation with the team as they will need access to rooms and offices to observe leaks. We also ask that you please close your windows during the spray testing period. While we know it will be disruptive at times, we will do our best to keep you informed and safe during the process.
