East Quad Walkway Closure

Facilities, SVPFA Aharon Grama

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

Please be advised that there will be no access to the East Quad pedestrian walkways starting Friday, October 2nd at 11pm through Monday, October 5th at 6am. The main entrances and quad-facing side entrances to Boylan and Ingersoll Halls will be closed as contractors apply a concrete sealer to the new walkways, weather permitting.

Staff members and faculty should contact their immediate supervisor if they have any questions or concerns regarding access and alternative working arrangements (if needed) over the weekend.

Please use these alternate entrances to Boylan and Ingersoll Halls:

  • To access Ingersoll Hall, use Ingersoll Extension, east side entrance near Lily Pond for ADA access or the west side lobby entrance on Bedford Ave.
  • To access Boylan Hall use the Boylan Well (Parking lot) on Campus Road. Please note, ADA access to Boylan Hall will not be available at this time.

Please refer to the attachment for additional details on the alternate entrances/locations.

Thank you,
