Restricted Administrative Applications

Faculty and staff are granted access to various restricted administrative applications by Enrollment Services or a department chair/area head.

IMPORTANT CHANGES AS OF FEB 2025: Some administrative applications now require a VPN to access off campus. These applications are noted with a lock icon (see example below). How to request and setup a VPN for access to restricted applications.

How do I know which applications are restricted to on-campus or VPN access?

Sign in to your Restricted Administrative Applications list to see which of the applications you use are require on-campus or a VPN to access remotely. The impacted applications are noted with a lock icon.

Some commonly used applications that now require a VPN connection for off-campus access include eAppointments, DWWI, and SEMS/STEMAS. Follow this guide to request VPN access if needed.

What is a VPN?

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a special network connection that simulates on-campus access from a remote device.

Lost access to a restricted administrative application?

You can lose access to a restricted administrative application due to an expired appointment or access code. Confirm with your department chair or area head that you should have access and that your appointment is valid.
