CUNY Central recommends installing and using the Microsoft Authenticator app as your primary verification method, but you can choose alternatives such as the Microsoft Outlook mobile app (install), Google Authenticator, or Passkeys. You only need to complete the MFA setup process once, and it will be applied to all Microsoft 365 applications on all your devices.
