  • Steam shutdown – Ingersoll Extension & Roosevelt Extension
    Water service to the WEB building has been shut off due to a water main break. Bathrooms and sinks will be unavailable while emergency repairs are underway. The building remains open, and updates will be provided as soon as possible.

    Network services are currently down on the upper floors of James Hall due to a hardware issue; ITS is working on a fix and updates will be posted at www.bc-status.info.

  • Campus Access Policy – Monday, May 12, 2025
    Starting May 12, only Brooklyn College ID holders will be permitted on campus. Event hosts must submit guest RSVP lists in advance to Campus Security.

  • Telecommunications Scheduled Maintenance on April 18, 2025
    On Friday, April 18th, from 6 PM to 10 PM, the college phone and voicemail systems will undergo scheduled maintenance, causing temporary disruptions in voicemail access. All services will resume normal operations immediately afterward.

  • Campus Network Access Issues for Off-Campus Users
    Brooklyn College Network Operations will conduct emergency network repairs on Tuesday, March 4th, starting at 5:00 PM. Both wired and wireless connections will be affected. Work is scheduled in the evening to minimize disruption. For updates, visit bc-status.info.

  • 2025 Fiscal Deadlines – Important Dates & Submission Guidelines
    Key fiscal year-end deadlines for Brooklyn College have been announced, including submission dates for CUNYBuy requisitions, tax levy reimbursements, and non-tax levy payments. Departments are encouraged to plan ahead to ensure timely processing.

    The Office of Facilities would like to remind the community to turn off office equipment, lights, and electronics, and to close windows and doors before leaving campus to support energy conservation efforts.
